Reincarnation

The Wings of Imagination

Reincarnation exists in all religions of the world and also within nature. Whether a person believes in reincarnation or not, does not change anything.  The question that is asked is whether the soul takes a body or the body takes a soul. When you dwell on this question long enough you will have your answer. It is energy that animates matter and gives it life and expression. Withdraw the energy from matter it becomes lifeless and dead.

The soul is androgynous, being both male and female.  When we incarnate as female then we are male within the spiritual realm, or when we incarnate as male we are female in the spiritual realm.

We accumulate experience and talent through the progression of lives. It is only through our physical incarnations that we progress, learning through pain and suffering. It is though pain and suffering that we realize we need to make corrections until we get it right in order to find love and joy. When we die we remain much the same as we were when we were alive.  The story of Bridey Murphy is a classic book about reincarnation. The books of Edgar Cayce provide many classic examples of reincarnation and is worth reading.

Karma

Karma exists in all religions.   In Christianity it is: “What you sow is what you reap.” The first law of physics is: “For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.”  Most Americans have an innate belief in karma as they hold to a natural acceptable theme: “What goes around comes around.”

Every day that we live we create karma by our every thought and action. Whether a thought or action is either good or bad, there will always be a likewise reaction. For example, how men treat women today will come back to them in their next life when they return as a women and the same is said for women toward men. We are either rewarded or punished for our actions. Punishment is like a teacher that teaches us a lesson.  For all the bad things we may cause in one life, we will receive back only a portion necessary to learn the lesson.  The universe will always balance itself.

However, not all lessons are karmic.  In some cases a soul may chose an experience to learn a particular lesson, so it is never wise to judge all human experience as karma.   How do we know when we learned a karmic lesson or have a new experience?  It is very simple: When you say to yourself you would never do that to another person, then you know you learned a lesson.
